Are

A member of this group used his company, Nhames to launch its first mock robotics competition in 2023, starting with a few schools in Mushin Local Government Area and later expanding to other regions, including Agbado-Oke Odo Local Government. Recognizing the growing need to foster innovation and technological advancement among Nigerian students, we took a bold step in 2024 to partner with like-minded, visionaries in establishing the National Robotics & AI League—a premier competition designed to be the largest and most impactful of its kind in Nigeria.

Driven by our passion for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, our mission is to provide a platform where students across the country can develop critical problem-solving skills, creativity, and technical expertise. This competition is more than just an event; it is a movement aimed at shaping the next generation of tech leaders, innovators, and startup founders who will leave a lasting impact on the global technology landscape.

Each year, we strive to expand the reach of the competition, ensuring that more schools and students have the opportunity to participate, learn, and excel. The future of technology in Nigeria starts here, and we are committed to making it a reality.

Adedapo Daramola

Director

A Business Analyst and the Lead Consultant with DARAMS CONSULT, A Management & Business Consulting Firm.
His several years of work experience span auditing and Consulting with EY Ernst & Young, Control Teller with Trans International Bank, Business Development and Import Manager with Dohagro Allied International Nigeria Ltd, Accountant and Admin Officer with the Australian High Commission, and Group Head of finance, Admin, and HR with Prima Garnet Africa.

Graduated from The Then Bendel State University, now Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma with a BSc degree in Accounting and Finance, An MBA in Financial Management from Lagos State University and A Certificate in Credit Management from the Lagos Business School Pan Atlantic University, A Certificate in Corporate Governance & Dispute Resolution. He is a Fellow Certified Management Consultant.

Oluwafunmike Alawode

Director

Funke earned her first degree in Computer Science from Ogun State University and an MBA in Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the International Business University Toronto. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI). Additionally, she is a certified cloud solutions architect with multiple industry certifications, including those from Microsoft and Cisco.

With over 20 years of experience, Funke specializes in designing and deploying corporate IT infrastructures, including Microsoft Active Directory and Domain Controllers, Central Storage Area Networks, ERP, and DMS solutions. She has held various roles such as Systems Administrator, IT System Analyst, Project Engineer, and IT Project Manager.

Her notable projects include the deployment and support of SAP ERP, as well as the implementation and management of cloud infrastructure platforms serving corporate organizations.

Olu Hector Fowobaje

Director

An accomplished IT Consultant and Technology Expert with over 35 years of experience, spanning key sectors of the economy, including Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, Education & Training, Hardware, and Software Development, among others.

His extensive expertise covers a broad spectrum of Information Technology, including Internetworking, Cloud Computing, Fiber Optics, Cybersecurity, Information Management Systems, Web Development, and IT Management.

A graduate of the prestigious University of Lagos, where he earned a BSc in Electronics, he has continually honed his skills through numerous professional courses, both locally and internationally. Over the years, he has acquired multiple industry-recognized IT certifications in Networking, System Design, and Cloud Technologies from leading global vendors.

With a passion for innovation and a commitment to driving technological advancements, he remains a thought leader in the evolving IT landscape.

Abimbola Oloruntobi

A Tech enthusiast, a writer, Author and publisher is an executive director on the board of two Lagos based companies, Debramink International, & B&P knights media.

A certified trainer ( Nigerian Institute of training & development NITD) and graduate of the university of Lagos , he is also a real estate and building consultant.
With a deeply rooted passion for teenagers and young adults moral & social development , he is the founder of Destiny hill life transformational institute.

He has worked with several media and corporate organizations in design and execution of youth centered social and educational programs.
Currently based in Lagos, he combines his Passion for parenting/ youth grooming with other interests in media and construction. He is so passionate about technologies.
